This August, we are honored to host the stakeholders’ meeting in Lunga-lunga Sub-county. We were privileged to have in attendance Mr. Juma Mwaziro from the County Government of Kwale (CGK), as well as village administrators from all the wards in the Sub-county and village elders from Shimoni, Majeroni, and Mzizima village units.
At the inception meeting, Mr. Salim Mwalukore, a Board member and a friend of LICODEP, provided an overview of the Parental and Child Early Learning (PACEL) project. He explained the goals of the project and how their involvement could contribute to its success.
LICODEP Executive Director Mr. Mwasina was also present to ensure that the inception meeting went well and to strengthen the partnership with the local partners within the sub-county.
